The International Schools Sports Organization (ISSO) is a pioneering initiative dedicated to the development and promotion of sports within international curriculum schools across India that are affiliated with esteemed educational boards such as Cambridge, IB, and other international boards. With an unwavering commitment to fostering athletic talent and cultivating a strongsports culture, ISSO plays a pivotal role in the realm of school sports.
Officially affiliated with the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), ISSO's subsidiary wing, IBSO, has been actively participating in the SGFI National School Games since 2017. In addition, ISSO holds an affiliation with the Subroto International Football Cup, where its teams actively compete in this highly competitive football tournament.
While numerous corporate entities craft intricate vision and mission statements, our identity as a sports organisation is distinct.
We harbor a steadfast GOAL, one that brims with ambition. The foremost goal of ISSO is to unite every International School across India on a singular platform, offering each and every student unparalleled opportunities to compete in competitive endeavors at their highest potential.
We hold a purpose that is simple, yet impactful: to acknowledge the immense sporting potential within students of International Schools, to furnish that potential with a dedicated platform, and finally, to ensure that students of International Schools discover the official routes to participate in games, competitions, and contests at both the National and International levels.
ISSO has been organizing the tournaments very well and in a nice discipline manner at very well-selected venues. The fact that students from international school gets the opportunity to participate in All India Schools National Tournament is a great achievement by its self.

While some Cambridge schools have already been participating in sports tournaments organized by ISSO over the past few years, we would be happy to collaborate even more closely with ISSO going forward to ensure that as many Cambridge schools and their learners as possible can participate in tournaments and other sporting activities organized by ISSO.

The formation of ISSO is one of the best things that has happened to school sports in India, offering the IB curriculum. It paved the way for the IB students to excel in various sports by getting the opportunity to participate in national and international tournaments.
ISSO gives platform to all IB schools to come and showcase their talents and at the same time encourages to participate and motivates too... It’s just because of ISSO both sports and academics can be balanced.. Most importantly for IB kids ISSO is a time saving competition as ISSO conduct all Indian meet not like other boards like SSC or ICSE which has districts level, state level and then national level. Also would like to give huge round of applause to each team member of ISSO for smooth functioning.
